Great experience. During the meal ? YES . Excellent quality. Well seasoned. Typical Indian decor, great flair
Very good food, reasonable prices, great hospitality and awesome tandoor items. One of the best Indian restaurants I have visited in Germany so far.
What can you say big here. The food is fantastic and the service is great. The ambience is convincing, but still not intrusive. All in all, it's just a great restaurant where I always want to enjoy a wonderful dinner.
Didn't blow my mind now but is a solid Indian
Good Indian cuisine but too large portions
This is the best restaurant I am serving. I recommend it to everyone.
I can only join the pre-posters there. Food 4/5 stars The food is delicious and not too little, are good portions. The selection is also quite large. Ambience 2/5 stars When you come in, it looks a bit careless, from the furnishings, care of the furniture, lamps, etc. Also the smell inside smells like grandma's old living room. Kindness 2/5 stars Well, there are no interim questions like, "Is there anything else?" So order everything you need to drink right away. Generally from the services rather loveless - not unfriendly but also not as you are used to, I think listlessly fits best. I would come back, but to impress someone as a secret tip not ?
Amazing food! I have been to both north- and south Indian restaurants and food is just amazing. From kebabs to dosas everything was perfect. Service is also good and do try the mango lassi!
Our favorite Indian in Bonn with authentic Indian / Pakistani cuisine. As children we occasionally went to these countries and some dishes - but above all the bread - are always a culinary journey through time. But you have to be careful with the portion sizes: if there is no soup, the starter is sometimes half a meal and the main courses with rice and / or bread are not exactly small either. If you are there for two, it is sometimes advisable to share a starter or even a main course, so as not to overeat and make it to dessert :-) There is only à la carte and no buffet. The menu itself is very extensive. However, it is not always clear from the German texts what the difference between different dishes is. The English subtexts sometimes create clarity - but not always. Then ask better. The waitresses are rather reserved and could be a bit more attentive at times - some overlook one and confuse orders, which is probably due to the language / culture barrier. Many of the employees probably come directly from India and have a limited work permit, so they change every few years. The interior is also a little mixed and creative. In terms of taste, however, as I said, highly recommended if you like the Indian spice.
Good food with large portion. Slightly pricey. Main issue we had was that it was very (very) hot inside the restaurant.
Try mutter paneer.. it was good..
Nice restaurant. The food was good, but very pricey.
Delicious food in a friendly place. Authentic selections to chose from. Reasonably priced
Friendly staff, but they messed up the order. I ordered a spicy Biryani and it came extremely mild that it did not of indian food at all!! My friend asked for a mild dish and came spicy! The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere however.
Very very tasty food. Tried the Indian in Kölnstrasse and was not so enthusiastic. I liked this very much. Service super nice and helpful. The MangoLassi is a must!
This is now the second Indian I have tried in Bonn. The food was delicious and if you want spicy. The service was friendly, but it took a long time until we got something to eat. The ambiance is not so nice. All Indians in Bonn did not come to our Lieblingsinder in Cologne, but that does not mean that it was not good.
Good Indian food....
We go to this place regularly and were never once disappointed! Externally, it looks rather inconspicuous but the way in is worthwhile. The waiting times are not very long, the staff is friendly and the food is unbeatably good.
My favorite Indian restaurant in Bonn. The service is always friendly and usually fast, the food is good for the low price, although I look at the sharpness not authentic, but the taste of German customers is due. Ideally, you should book a table, as it is regularly very crowded and it can lead to longer waiting times.
One star less for not having wifi
Delicious food! However, we had to wait a 3/4 hour for our food, so 4 stars. The amount of rice could have been a bit more, but otherwise everything was fine. The atmosphere was very cozy and the food was perfect! ?
The food was excellent, very delicious and nicely prepared, but we waited 2.5 hours for the food, we almost got up and left. Therefore only 4 stars from me
Good food and good hospitality. One of my favorite Indian restaurant.
Had a different inconvenient experience here. Been traveling in Germany for more than a Decade and been to atleast 100+ indian restaurants (reviews about food n ambience already online) here, the treatment here was very unprofessional. Did walk into it at 6.30 pm asking for a table, the smart guy said if you don't have reservation they can't. We said fine n requested to see if he can accommodate, he said sorry. Then we decided to go for take away. While waiting for it for 30 mins atleast 2 times the Germans were allowed without a reservation. When asked to the same guy, he brought 2 lassi as FOC act of compensation. He must understand that we spent lacs to travel to EU, and as well pay to go for Indian food. We refused the act of this unfamiliar attitude n way to apologise which is very unprofessional and unethical. Please avoid such biased minded restaurant. In addition to this the take away food was below average, of which half of it went into dustbin.
Decent food
So the food was really delicious, but ... .... the service was listless and not friendly .... everything was somehow grubby. The tablecloth was stained, although we were the first guests. The menus were sticky. .... the restaurant, the dining room and the toilet are accessible only by stairs. .... in the menu there was no reference to additives in the individual courts After all, the dining room was air conditioned.
Great food and good service ??
I like the place. Friendly atmosphere with great service and delicious food. Would highly recommend.
Very expensive
Friendly service and tasty north Indian food
Authentic Indian food, tender - well marinated chicken meat, fresh fish and satisfying (goes better!) Service. The Coke, which is sold in the map as Coca Cola, is anything but Coca Cola and 4,60 € for 0,5l something else, I find it very expensive! For the food the price is reasonable and as I said, very good in taste! The sauces were ok, I personally only liked one. The ambience is ok, for us it did not smell unpleasant, neutral or very good but at best not smelly, as in some other review. We will come back if needed.
Go here for 20 years, good service, always friendly, consistently good level, authentic good - even the smell of the kitchen! The decor also fits - is just exactly Indian! Also very suitable for vegetarians, but better say extra if you can not eat spicy.
Overall ok large portion sizes Feells like an very old place only negetive is that menu is hard to read not thr cheapest and they dont have a good variety of indian food such as in nana dosa and biriyani
I liked the menus. Filling and very satisfying.
Great Indian food. Friendly staff. Different levels of spicyness available.
Bad quality
Strictly OK Indian food
Costlier than i expected
They have one of the best chicken tikka in Bonn and in general food is really tasty and of good quality. Best Indian restaurant in Bonn!
As always delicious. The service is friendly, the food tastes very good. It is nice that you can order many dishes a bit sharper. The 3 sauces and pappadums, which you get in advance are very good. We always like to come back.
bad experience.
Sadly, this place is not as good as it used to be and as such, is also a little expensive. The food isn't bad, rather it used to be better.
very delicious food
Taste is not so great.. prices are too high.
Excellent food, good prices and really filling!
Taste was excellent. I would have given 5 stars but -1 star because we had to wait for 20 minutes even upon having the table reserved!!
It's not as spicy as some places in the UK. Saag Paneer was oily and bland. Mango Lassiter was so nice. Great atmosphere. Service was lovely, but not warming. Would not go back as there are better cuisines nearby.
Staff friendly! Food too expensive for small portions but good taste !! What bothered me when entering the restaurant was the pungent smell of sewerage !!!
Super delicious and a culinary enrichment for everyone.
1 star just because the food was actually ok. The other 3 stars were removed for the time we waited for our food. 1 star= 25 minutes. I will take away another star because the staff was mean to us during the process While waiting, we noticed that the food will arrive faster if you dress nice, this happened a couple of times. We had to ask not once or twice but thrice to get our food.
